I appreciated that they gave a reason for the "established 1976" thing, because it made NO sense. This particular book went into how and why Ashe became a gangleader, and how she formed her gang, Deadlock. (Blizzard plz commission me to write a Junkrat backstoryyy.) I'm already familiar with the characters and the lore of their story, this is just a deeper dive into their origins. I like reading the backstories of characters I already know: it's a bit like officially licensed fanfiction, I guess.
